One Minute Monday Musing – Love

“All you need is love.” – The Beatles

Love.  Wow, what can I say about love in only a minute?  Love is love.  We all need to be loved.  We need to give love.  We need to feel loved.  We need love.  Simple.  Yet, giving and receiving love can be so complicated.

I love (see how I used the word “love”? he!he!) the book “Five Love Languages” by Gary Chapman:

I was first introduced to it through Gary’s book “Five Love Languages of Children.”  In both books it’s explained that we all give and receive love differently.  The five love languages are: quality time, words of affirmation, gifts, acts of service, or physical touch.  Some of us feel loved when we receive a gift, others when we are hugged.  It’s great to identify and understand your own primary love language, as well as your family and those that are close to you.

How do you give or receive love?

We love because he first loved us.
